RRL Rodeo Ralph Lauren

Hey I was thinking about buying a pair of RRL slim fits, the distressed model, and I was wondering how the fit is in relationship to the APC new cure. I know this is somewhat specific, but does anyone know? I have a pair of new cures in 30 and was wondering if a pair of RRL slim fits in 29 would be similar? would they be more loose? Thanks for any help!

Hey guys,

I've bought a slim pair of one-wash RRL in June 2009 and am loving it!

But after over 1 year of wearing it, it starts to get the same marks that all my jeans get at some point: Crotch rip.

My question to you guys is: Where and how do you let them fix it?

I asked the girl who sold me the jeans in NYC and she said that every Ralph Lauren store would do that for free and she showed me a pair of jeans that just returned from repair and it looked great.

As I'm in Germany and have only 3 real RL stores in the whole country I don't know what to do now!? Send them to NYC, drive to Frankfurt and let it fix there or go to a normal tailor shop and let them fix it.

Thanks and take care,

Chris

It would probably be cheaper to mail to one of the stores in your country wouldn't it? Provided she's right and they really do repair them. I will guess that most tailors will only put a patch on which I hate, especially for crotches because then it rubs against my balls and ass ;-D I prefer the "real" fix when they fill up the hole with threads in a meshwork. Here in NYC I've recently relied completely on Denim Therapy.

(if some of the images are rotated or gigantic I apologize, photobucket is being finicky and slow to update my changes. Try refreshing the page a few times and they may correct themselves...)

Great photos and nice wear you're getting on those RRL straight legs.

Thanks for posting!

These are my RRL straight legs in 30x34. I would estimate that they stretched about two sizes in the waist since I bought them. Worn every day for about 7 months while working outdoors before first wash. Worn maybe three months total after that with two more washes and some repairs along the way. I was one of the lucky ones and found these at marshalls for $40. I understand some people on here will probably hate on the tight fit, but it's what I prefer, so I'm pretty happy with them.
