Just got this today from the local leather store. I'm thinking of not giving them any extra "treatment" at all. would that work out fine?

it should work out fine for the beginning, but down the road, you will still need to condition it to prevent it crack

I dont have a before picture, but here is my corter belt and LGC wallet after about 6 months or so. That's also a corter double braided chain. Hi corter

no treatment or tanning on both accounts.

i like both, but those clarks look really amazing. how often did you oil/wax them?

Never. About 6 months after I got them (had them for like a year and a half now, maybe) I got them out and was about to oil them but decided to just see where they would go naturally.

The leather is definitely starting to get pretty dry in some places (you can see in the 3rd picture), so I may end up oiling them sometime soon, after all.

i think conditioning and polishing them might have been better in the long run.

thats probably from smothering the wallet with obenaufs leather oil and LP lmao its not gonna touch any more till a good year...

i might wanna clean it up though it has indigo stains in a few spots id like to get rid of...

anyone have experience with obenaufs leather cleaner?

The White Jaguar? It got most of the indigo off my wallet, but a fair amount was still there. Not bad. It's cheap too. Can use it on pretty much everything leather.

Well...that's basically what they are, so that makes sense.

They have indigo stains all over them and I wear the shit out of them. I do keep trees in them usually, so they aren't totally neglected

6 months or...somewhere around there? Oiled twice with Obenauf's, tanned in the beginning for a couple of hours.

I had just cleaned it with Saddle Soap before taking the pictures. Took off pretty much all of the indigo stains.
