As some of you may know, I just bought a SET-2 over on the community sales thread (massive props to upheaval for exceptional service). It arrived today, and much to my horror the leggings don't fit :(

They're about the right length but very tight over my abnormally massive quads (every day is legs day). So, I don't know what to do here. Everything else fits fine, the shorts, the leggings over my calves, the length. It's just the girth really. Can anyone think of any way to solve this?

I could only recommed you to change the leggins to another, for ex Rapha but they are not in stock now.

you could do a interest check on a trade on just the the legging for a larger pair, someone may want a smaller size.

I suppose it's worth a shot. I just didn't think many people would be interested in downsizing their X-LG1. I'll list it over on the sales thread.

Hi guys, was wondering. Is J1A-S made out of ventile less waterproof compared to it's gore-tex brethren?

Yeah ventile is a lightshell, but it should provide decent protection in but the heaviest of rain. Not a problem in urban environments where there is plenty of cover to weave in and out of.

Which one of you outbid me by $5 on that 3A-6TS?

I stopped bidding after realizing it still needs to be fixed. And even if its "professionally" fixed it still might look tacky.

Also, whoever won could have had a greater maximum bid...

That would be me.  That's why I listed my Limonta 3A-6TS to have it be replaced with the Xpac.

Not sure about fit on either of those, but they'll be as warm as any other 3 layer goretex proshell jacket (ie you'll need to wear a softshell or something underneath).

GT Proshell is great against rain and wind and helps a lot in the cold. If you stay outside for longer times a soft-shell or wool sweater would help a lot. I am doing this with my GT-J28 every day on the bike to work.

Looks spiffy! I might just do that.

Just note that leggs are quite narrow, shorts - L, leggs - XL.

Is there any way you Subnet guys can see older collections? I'd love to see the ACR spec page for the SS-J7C but can't find anything online for it other than the old Firmament page.
