Here are my 811's after about 3 1/2 months. They've been worn pretty hard, normaly 6-7 days a week. I gave them a warmish soak at 1 month and then their first machine wash at just over 3 months. I'm pretty happy with the way they're going so far....

Any cotton pocket bag and stitching will deteriorate really fast if you go months without washing. The dirt and oil that accumulates there weakens the shit out of the cotton.

Eternal 811s are awesome! So many pairs posted here that haven't dissappointed me. They are, I think the best bang for the buck jap prem denim!

are they as big and widely spread as the 811s?

thats the reason i sold mine, and i want the eternal denim back badly...

nope, theyre much different than 811s id say. longer and not nearly as square looking. also set much lower down, pretty much on my thighs. i like them a lot, they sort of remind me of kmw pockets or something like that. and if people didnt already know, same denim as the 811 too.

Fit on the 864s is really nice, Dino. Looks pretty close to how my 866s fit, though I think the 866 has an even lower rise. I definitely prefer the style of backpockets on them myself, too.

Took some updated fit pictures. I've had these for about 3 months. A hot wash and dry would probably improve the fit, but I think I want to hold out for some significant wear before doing so. That guy with the size 30s that fit perfectly who's bigger than me makes me wish I'd sized down. I was frightened off by my inability to button size 32 811s. The 872 is a very different cut, though. Anyway.

headtowall, that fit is really good. much better than your PBJ and LVC which are too tight in my opinion.

That is a fit that makes them look like JEANS.

I'm considering ordering a pair of Eternal 872's. Can anyone advise me on how much these might stretch? Denim seems pretty thick; if they don't stretch much I may get a 33 or 34 instead of my true 32 (I like to wear my jeans loose and slightly low). Thx!
