it shouldnt be a problem if he washes them with cold water. if he boils them after a few months, there might be a couple problems.

i usually read that you should shrink unsanforized denim as much as possible right from the start, so what is the way to go?

i on the other hand am getting a mid length wallet so it may stick out partially

Denim got slubby after the soak. I like it a lot more now. A bit looser in the waist than I'd like, I might do a more intense hot soak/dry later (nothing near 80c though!)

some dope fits here, just soaked mine last night... however shit takes forever to dry around the equator(especially in south east asia). mine are sitting outside in the sun at the moment going to be all crispy

just picked up a pair of the 27s ... finally got enough money.

so what are the instructions of soaking? just get my sink or tub plugged full of hot water and then just leave them in there for 30 min and then let them air dry?

Here's some fresh Dry Bones loving all the way from Sydney

Size 31, hemmed to 35" inseam. I'm about 170cm tall. Pretty happy with the fit. Even more happier with the denim itself... nothing like I've seen before.

I've actually never used a dryer before, anything i should know in the way of temperature settings/ not fucking up the patch when it comes to jeans?

throw some towels in there. also, you might have to clean up the indigo left in your dryer afterwards.

got mine today, doing a hot soak + dry, i have really skinny calves so i am not so the leg opening is the only thing I am concerned about, other then that they are great.

Mekkah I think you need to size down one, they shouldn't be that roomy, even pre-soak. See dkatz above, and aim for something like that.

I think Mekkah's fit is just fine. Like iGIT said, it's a slim straight fit. Maybe he doesn't want nut-huggers...

I agree, Mekkah the fit looks decent right now, slim/straight. Post some pics after you soak as the diaper ass and some bagginess will surely go away.

With all these pics I think I'm about to pull the trigger on a pair myself, can't pass up having some coveted denim.

I have soaked them now and they are a bit tighter but I thought they would shrink more then they did but I´m still really happy with the fit.

But I could bought a 28 instead of a 29.
