They are a decent pair of simple white high tops without ugly branding all over them and at a price that could easily substitute them for chuck taylors. I don't see a problem there. Plus they have a nice silhouette..but yeh i guess personal opinion huh.

as promised real pic of the $45 desert boots now that theyre here

upper is suede and sole is rubber, and theyre much lighter than i expected. as light as a pair of eras/authentics. obviously at this pricepoint construction and quality are not ace but they dont look like they will fall apart. i doubt i will ever buy a pair of clarks as long as these things are sold. will post a fit sometime later, theyre fairly chunky in a good way
