i have an interesting project to share with you sufu. for the month of july i will be working a job as a construction worker (yes, a skinny sufu kid like me a construction worker). so for the duration of my job i will be wearing a pair of raw levis 501 stfs.

just wanted to say i for one will be interested in the progress...

i work in a field office for a construction project, so i haven't been about to get out and get as grimey as i'd like with my denim..

tons of Levis and Lee's around the office, though i doubt they are LVC's or vintage by any stretch- regardless, some great wear on site

hard to get interesting fades when you're fucking with autoCAD, lol

I'm about to do a similar project myself. I\ve been wearing my 31" APC Rescues to work for 2 months, and now that I have my 30" APC NS, I'm going to give them a few months, and see which turn out better.

The Rescues stretched out far too much (around 36", i'm roughly a 33/34"), which is why I got smaller NS's. The Rescues have descent fades, but nothing too high in contast, and really weak honeycombs. In comparison, my NS already have more honeycomb fades after 3 days of framing a garage.

least you don't have to take your jeans off to go to the bathroom any more.

def sucks.

no big, ive fixed the exact same rip on jeans of mine before, and im no seamstress. anyone who skates and falls/slides on his ass probably has similar damage. depends how professional you want it to look or not, i personally kind of like the frankenstein aesthetic, gives them character, and satisfaction of doing the job yourself.

DUM, mom gotta sewing machine?

I think I'll take them to BiG when I'm in NY (very soon)? I know I could take it anywhere, or even do it myself...but I wanna go for the overkill and have them do it..that's where I bought them anyway.
