It's 4 monthes.

The denim is similar to Flat Head 5000 denim , Eternal, or Joe McCOY901.

okey, progression of Nudie Even Steven Dry, I know I posted the first 4 pics before, but deleted the first message & I thought a reminder of how they looked was in order...

Brand new:

3 months:

I've had to repair the back pockets, and busted the crotch so that has been repaired too.

They're coming along incredibly fast in my opinion...

are these dry black?

hope you guys aren't getting tired of me posting pics of my sams. i just got my new (old) nikon D1H today, and i wanted to test her out. got outside right as the sun was going down. this is now at right about 8 months on the 5000s. Color is pretty much spot on. With this camera taking 5 frames per second, I had a lot to choose from...

yea i wasn't really going for the supercontrasty thing. all of what i consider the best looking jeans i've seen have been worn in slowly without exceptional contrast (eg ryu's canes, holy grail eternals). i think they've been washed 4 times, but it may be only 3 + initial wash to get all the starch out. Either way, it's been once every 2-3 months usually.

I haven't been shy about washing them either. I throw them in the washer on hot, and the only real variable is the amount of detergent I put in there, which at first was next to none, and the past 2 washes have been quite a bit for only one garment. I'm happy with how they're looking, and I expect that within another 8 months they'll be at least close to on par with those jeans we revere so much on this board.
