unfortunately I'm not sure that those Lee's really arent repros, They should've had Levis style arcs I think. But if they are the real deal, then Edwin sure as hell did an amazing job when making the Repros, mine looks almost identical, just a bit less fucked..

Edit: This doesnt really prove anything, but these are my repros taken with flash and retouched almost the same way that these seem to be:

Thanks! I love how they have gotten such a "real" vintage fade. Got them for my birthday two years ago. they were bought in shop called Solo here in Sthlm and they were 193 Euro then. They raised the price on these about a year ago so now they are 246 Euro. If you get them from japan they are 112 Euro. you can get them here: http://www.rakuten.co.jp/super-rag/1785607/1785609/

Bonus picture of the real deal:

Hi,

Best thread in a really long time! Its funny how one starts to recognize the Thai fakes just by the way they fade. We had this shop here in stockholm that had loads of Thai fakes and they had all more or less faded the same. just like these two in this thread.

Look at this!

They really know how to make really 'nice looking' jeans.:D

Regards,

Marvins side is a a true delight, especially those 1942 are damn interesting! Why? 1. Because it really seems that Levi´s produced Jeans in WW2 even without arcuate painting, if there had been arcuates before and wore off, the overall colour couldn´t occure that deep blue, otherwise I don´t know if the arcuates disappeared already after one wash... 2. Those laurel leaf button fly =) ...I hope LVC will do a 1942 repro in upcomming seasons!!!
