soul brotha no 1, i have to say that these muthas are baaaaaad

these jeans are definitely built to last

the only broken threads to speak of are over the hidden rivets

the pockets, waist, and fly all struck me as tough

while i certainly see them getting trounced over their tour of duty

the denim, hardware, and stitchwork have class to spare

i found the fit weird at first

but it really started to grow on me towards the end

i see a 2000 cut in my future

but im not sure if ill go with the number one denim again

maybe for the same reason i avoid girls who look like exes

my heart might not be able to take it

i am really happy for the time i spent with these jeans

it happened to coincide with a very strange portion of my life

what i'm also excited about these jeans going to diddy now is that we're finally going to have some height difference. the stacks and honeycombs were nearly identical between almond and i. and since almond put on some good stack fade, i really wonder how they'll look on diddy and how they'll evolve.

and hige is coming along nicely too. nice job denim brotha #2.

yesterday, i rolled (i.e. "sparred" in layperson's terms) with an old buddy of mine who is now ranked #1 in the united states for submission wrestling. it's good to get your ass kicked sometimes. it's cathartic and puts things into persepective. i have a ways to go to reclaim my old physical glory.

so i just put them on; can't decide whether i will start wearing them in earnest now or to soak them first.

the jeans are in great condition; they look new, really. when i held them up, they seem a bit bowlegged; putting them on seems to confirm this; high rise; i guess i wasn't paying attention but i was surprised by the crotch rivet; the two-tone stitching is more subtle in person than in pics; i am a bit self-conscious with the painted pockets, but i will get over it...
