Thought about sewing a plain white cloth tab on my PBJs. I think basic blank pockets look bland. I need arcuates etc...

I love that neo-vintage denim or whatever they call it for the 006 and 008. That's most likely going to be my next pair of PBJs, some time next year (hopefully they'll be still around).

tried on the 008s today at BiG... I would reccomend sizing up at least one, if not two. These guys run try to measured size, but because of the low rise you will probably need to size up ( most low rise jeans acutally meaure larger than tagged size... in this case they actually run to tag size)

and the 008 denim is very interesting. Pictures make it look lighter than it actually is in daylight. These guys are pretty dark still, but not the same inky black-blue that most raw denims are. seeing these next to the 007s was also pretty interesting, since those are practically black (and the white selvage pops out so much!)

Only possible complaint is that the denim doesn't feel like it could stand up to really hard wear... I wouldn't do a lot of housework in these guys. fit is very nice and modern, though.

They're sort of a mottled royal blue after a soak/wash. The contrast stitching is very bold, I wasn't quite ready for how aggressive it is. I think it's the same as on the regular XX-005s and the AI-001s. The shrink from raw is really startling, but the fit is exactly the same as the 005s and only smaller than the 007s in the 36 size.

After a soak and a wash, the 007s are still navy with spots that look basically black around the sides, the contrast is pretty startling.

Lol @ banana. Hah Im w/you Indigo junkie..I was thinking of buying fabric paint to paint on some arcurates on my 007's...very subtle though not loud like evisu...more like those WWII levi's.

The XX-008 fit REALLY tight. I had to size up 2 sizes, as I normally wear a 29. I tried on a 31, but a one washed version. I couldn't even button up a 30! But I love the color, and it definitely is a lot darker in person than the pictures on BiG's site.

i would post fit pics of mine, but pbj cut them so small in the waist that i can't hardly button mine up (and this is raw, unsoaked/washed)... so i'll be exchanging them for a larger size.

heres my 008s. Got the one wash version from (they got both raw and o/w versions both from pbj). These are size 29 and fit a good bit snugger than my 007s.

Wow man I really like the fit of those 008's on you..the color is better than I thought...they look so much better than in the pics on BiG's website....for some reason they look like crappy stonewashed jeans on there.

Wasn't gonna post these, they're pretty unflattering, but fuck it.

This is how the size 36 008s look on a fat guy with biker legs. They're not getting a lot of wear until I have a few weeks where I'm not biking much. The weird creases on the left side of the ass and the bottom of the camera are not normal, but I'm too lazy to take another picture.

they look great, dont worry, a little tight on the hips but I know from my 005s that whole area loosens up pretty quick, I would never have guessed your a 36, guess your tall, they look good.

PBJ XX-007s in size 36 so you can see the sizing difference! Also, I would note that according to BiG it is only the 36 that differs in fit between models. I'll try to get some better pics. The looser creases on the knee, if nothing else, are a good giveaway.

Just got these in from BiG. Absolutely gorgeous jeans and great texture!

Here is my post-soak fit, I got these true to waist 32 (although right now I'm probably closer to 33 )

Did you hot-soak, or cold soak? Be ready for a fair bit more shrinkage after a hot soak. You've got a little extra in the hips it looks like, but it'll go away shortly.

I did a 30 minute hot soak. Those are sitting pretty high up because the waist was so tight, once they stretch a bit I'll wear them a half inch lower and all will be good. I did the same for my 005BKs and they ended up with a perfect fit, so hopefully these end up the same.

And yeah, the slub is amazing

Dunno, but you're missing out. Just pulled mine out after a second wash (around 70 days wear), and the whiskering and vertical falling are fantastic. I'll try to get some good pictures tomorrow.
