it really does matter if someone is at the very least knowledgeable about the basics of whatever pop culture reference clothing brands use. if you're wearing something and you're wearing it solely from a design perspective, you're at least going to do some research about the design... otherwise, you're just wearing shit cuz you're a fucking lemming.
