Flying to Tokyo tomorrow to meet with some of the lesser known brands in the West, hoping to make some of these awesome brands more accessible for me and my fellow denim nerds.

Don't think these have been posted before.  Genoa Jeans.  They also have a TCB collab.

Mr-Bielby unless I missed it can we have an update on your Porky's 66 please! Also can you post the pre/post measurements if you still have them?

Could actually revive the Porky's thread ..

This one never got very far at the time!

Just seen this.

I haven't worn them yet, trying to be faithful to my Resolutes.

I bought them hemmed and one wash.

I'll get some measurements up for you, and maybe a fit pic if I'm feeling brave!

No worries mate, understood! I haven't worn my FOB's yet (partly to do with not quite being able to button them up) but I lovingly handle the fabric every now and then. Best I've touched yet in my very limited experience.

Hogs, I plundered vintage shops for Levis in my late teens early 20,s even being known to wear a 36" on a 28" (pre-abused) waistline if i liked the fades, then LVC came along to span the gap before the internet.

I would say most folks on here,s denim fascination developed in there teens but for a fellow like yourself who is rapidly approaching middle age (now be honest here we have all made the odd faux-pas in the past) What jeans have you chosen to wear for the last 2 decades? In the form of a list please.

When I was buying second-hand Levi's in the late 80s, like Double O, I'd take whatever size I could find as long as they were a. redline, b. large enough and c. not completely knackered.

Often they were too big on the waist and too short, however, with my good looks and natural flair, it never seemed to matter! :)

Being from Genoa myself I must really get a pair or these, sooner or later!

Just shoot an email to the lads at Genoa Jeans, I'd go crazy to get a pair of these, just alone for the Genoa leather patch and Genoa tab! they do look real nice too and reasonably  priced.

did anyone find any fit pics for these?

I'll keep you posted if I get a reply
