Unknown Japanese Brands

^ORLY? Hahaha, the one I linked is a dutch company that has been around for ages and makes crap.

That's random cause when Takeshi visited us at Self Edge a month ago for the Patina project he was wearing these jeans... i asked him about them and he said his friend owns the company and they don't produce many pairs..

A bit more about these...

They are a really nice looking full cut straight leg, we didn't notice the fact that they have no inseam until he showed it to us when I asked what they were.

He said that they were one of the first pairs made, but his friends brand Stockman.

I'm really curious how they got them to work as there are no crotch gussets so I'm curious to see how they created that needed space...

That is most likely a different company haha

The Salty Dog jeans out of Japan are related to Canton

Actually the font looks pretty similar

That is even more blatant than Evis.

"honestly your honour, it's just a coincidence that Ueki's looks a little like Levi's with that font"

I don't think they will have survived the lawsuit....

Great thread:)

I've been reading through pretty much from the beginning, and about half way through people were talking about Gardener. I've only seen pictures of the jeans, but they look really nice, and the red tab's excellent:D

My Gardener jacket, cross posted from the jeans jackets thread:

You button the flap inside across, and do the front up like normal, so it's sort of double breasted/single breasted. The front panels are pockets all the way down, and then theres another chest pocket on the outside. i really like the enamelled buttons:)

There are lots of brands im interested in,that although may not be considered "unknown",are very rarely talked about and have no threads dedicated to them.for example:studio zero, stormy blue, fob factory, free rage, tasuki. Are they just not up to standard?

i think there isnt enough interest or not enough people wearing them to warrant a seperate thread. for know they all stay in the gem of a thread that is "unkown japanese brands"

Ooe-Yofukuten & Co. is a perfect example. they had a bunch of posts on here and thus got their own thread.

this should fall well into the category

Basic style is Levi's 501XX model.

This jeans do not include the brand logo etc. at all.

Because it is possible to make it to own original jeans by giving an original patch and embroidery, painting etc. to this high-quality jeans.

Unbranded jeans from Okoyama that you can add your own touch too :)
