on an unrelated note:

I ran into my 5th grade teacher a bit earlier at the supermarket. This is the 5th grade teacher that put me through hell whenever I opposed her authority in any way, be it simply questioning her as a teacher or actually acting out she would send me to the principle's office, then I'd get detention and have to copy dictionary pages word for word and lie to my parents about staying after for some club meeting - a bitch if I ever knew one.

But that does not take away from the fact that she is a MILF of the highest caliber. I mean, shit, her 17-month old daughter was one of those model babies (bouwnt, I kno u feel dat). Shit, I feel old now, considering she has 3 kids and looks like, 25.

i think sometimes people have the wrong idea about fashion

it's not all glitz and glamor, models and gossip

yeah yeah you have a vuitton bag and pair of ripoff marni flats and you know jacobs lost some weight, who doesn't?

i want to talk to people who think karl was more genuine when he couldn't fit into hedi's clothes

i like the work of designers who pay their respects to a geographic and temporal legacy

not some pithy dichotomy like "india meets formalwear!" and see what happens

milan is okay and muccia is really cool but i can't vibe with giorgio and gianni

designers who have a personal stake in their ideas, that is interesting

I'm so terribly interested why SuFu keeps fucking with the rep bars when, say,

-The layout is still fucking terrible

-Thread titles can be too long (wow)

-Sent messages can't be accessed once you've entered the inbox. And apparently messaging is totally screwed for some people.

-Refreshing still necessary to update the pages

-Clicking control panel now logs me off

I'm 100% convinced this one or more of the following is true:

1. The supertech crew has no idea what's going on and is taking a break

2. This is their way of fucking with people

3. They genuinely think this is good.

Don't they make revenue off of this site? Shouldn't their priority be keeping traffic up? I'm going to keep coming back regardless, but I know a lot of people seriously can't deal with being here.

seriously, i'll keep coming back to superfuture, but to be honest i don't check it as often as i used to. i dread actually looking at the forum and drag myself to read it to update myself on the content. i'm sucking it up, but the supertechs are really pushing it with this layout. only the most dedicated stay....?

damn....Sawyer you my dude, but i disagree with pretty much all of this.

i think you feel it too deeply...not that it's wrong to feel, but a subject as frivolous as fashion doesn't deserve this kinda pouring over.

on that note, Karl Lagerfeld of now is one of the most wise people on earth, I think he, or anybody else, couldn't get any more genuine. You can romanticize the beauty of the art and end up like YSL during his last few years living through a bedroom of memories, wistfully yearning for a sense of beauty that never and doesn't actually exist, or you can just move on and never stay in one place, yet still stick around like Karl.
