Will the flathead shirts ever be available to purchase online ?

The reason we don't offer our shirts in our online store is because our stock moves so quickly. The best thing to do is to find the shirts you want in this thread or on our blog and email us we'll sort you out, or call/skype in and we'll let you know what we've got.

I'd say about half of what we get goes onto the blog...

We have quite a few customers that call in and purchase shirts without even seeing them purely based on the fact that they're Flat Head fans. We still haven't had somebody return a shirt because they didn't like it. The fit on almost all their shirts is the same, so once you know your size it makes buying the shirts far easier..

How big do these shirts get?

If I'm a 17.5"/37" in dress shirts, with 21" from shoulder to shoulder am I out of luck?

The sizes are 36 38 40 42 44

The size = Pit to Pit chest measurement in inches

So they do get up there in terms of size.. We suggest rounding up the nearest size.

Are these the replacement of the 3008?

Yes they are...

But the 3008 is no longer, it's now the 3009..

so it's basically the 3008/3009 cut.

kiya,

can you shed some more light on the cotton/poly material on these f380's? and how much baggier are they than say the 3001's or imperial dukes? thanks.

Instead of exlpaining the cut, the best thing to do is to compare the measurements and detailed photos i've taken on our site between the three jeans.

The cotton/poly is the thread only, meaning the stitches (on the seams, pockets, etc.) will last FAR longer than usual Flat Head jeans.

I just bought a pair of SD-105s, saying they were the last pair of jeans I'd buy for a while. These Iron Hearts just might change my mind when I visit SF next week. Definitely going to be trying these on. Funny how such a simple alteration to the arcuate was enough to get by the lawsuit. Still looks pretty Levi-ish to me.

Are these full selvedge?

These are not selvedge.

The only selvedge jeans Iron Heart makes is the 634s and the SEXIH...

are they ever going to make a sixh actual black dye this time, sulfur black? why the deep navy blue?

What's a "sixh"?

The 1634 IS an actual black.

A couple of important updates

-Self Edge will start it's chainstitching service (via our recently renovated Union Special Machine) on June 15. We will not be chainstitching jeans for mailorder, only inhouse purchases and drop-offs until we're caught up with orders

-Get ready for The Real McCoy's

-The SEXIH03 (Self Edge x Iron Heart) will be released sometime in late July, and will be designed from the ground up for cyclists. Very functional yet still looks like a normal pair of jeans. Retail price will be well below the SEXIH01's price.
