We here at Self Edge have been working 24/7 to bring denim heads what they've been wanting; the vision of what i wanted in terms of selection from a denim store is coming to life. We are still on track to open our doors Wednesday, November 1 at noon.

To those who've emailed me in the past month or so with positive words, thank you...

To those that are inquiring about exactly which cuts we're getting in from a certain designer, it's too much for us to answer those questions at the moment because our heads are filled with hundreds of cuts and washes and styles... We chose what we liked from every designer and we hope that once you see what we have in stock you'll agree. There are a few things we've got that i've never seen any other place, come in and check em out. The online store will be opening mid/late-november with most of our denim stock being available online.

The opening party will take place at 6pm on November 18th at Self Edge with J-Zone (nyc, old maid billionaires) playing his trademark style of ignant hiphop.

Theres like 3 (ithink) stores in SF alone that cary APC. No real need to carry the same brands as the other shops.

Trying to bring "harder to get" denim to SF, rather than just being like every other denim boutique in SF.

Wow! just awesome. the only cool denim stores in SF are american rag, villains, and rolo. bluejean bar is a joke. too bad I live in LA now though. But I will definitely stop by when I come back up..

minya.. the entire reason the Superfuture party is Jan 6 was so that you could make it. so now you MUST come.

but during our first week of being open we might stay open much later, just call and check..

My girlfriend is now in SF and I've convinced her to pick up a pair of raws. What brand do you carry women's line?

for women we've got:

-Imperial Denim (none, they don't make dedicated women's cuts..)

-Sugarcanes (1, the bootcut model that's very tight in the thighs)

-Iron Heart (their one women's cut which is a straightish boot cut)

-Nudies (it's all unisex for the most part, but for women we've got slim kim and super slim kim)

-Samurai (we've got the Geisha, which some say is for women, some say it's just called that, regardless, we've got it in women's sizes)

-Iron Army (two cuts, two washes of each cut, womens' only)

-Sling & Stone (comes in november 15, women's only, two cuts, two raw, two washes)

hope that clarifies what we do and don't have for women...

i did my best to try and carry as much selvedge/raw for women as i could.

it's been a trip so far opening Self Edge..

some of these designers' products were harder to get a hold of than i had anticipated. but it's all worked out and we have all 7 or 8 of the denim brands that i wanted to have before i started working on SE...
