Recommended Posts

It's a one-wash. Pretty snug, but not uncomfortable. I don't know how to wear it though. Open or closed? None of my shirts are short enough to wear with it when open, so they have to be tucked in. Any advice?

EDIT: Also, is there a Levis jacket that this is based on? I looked at pics of Type 1, 2, and 3s, along with 213s, but I'm not sure what this is based on.

^ looks like it's based on levi's type 2 (507) jackets. very naaaas.

i think it looks good both ways you're wearing, open and closed. one thing i think you can improve in your current outfit is your belt. i wish it was a little more heavy duty. and something raw.

^ I agree, I only wore that belt because I wanted to see how the jacket fell around the belt line.

As soon as Kiya gets them in, I'll be ordering a tan Sugar Cane (non-studded) belt.

Pand-san

very nice jacket!

In my opinion, the shirt you wear can be a bit longer than the jacket, if its not like 10 inches or so. Its a short jacket after all, so hard to avoid, and everything cant/should´t be tucked.

My newest addition, Levi's RED

I love the slim fit, plus the longer than traditional jean jacket length!

I got it at a Levi's store here in Taiwan. I think they brought it over from Japan? The tags are all in Japanese.

Knew it was too cool for the Uk / Europe market.

Fantastic buy.

That might very well be possible :) they are in really good shape for 40+ year old pants, and the washer didnt seem to do them any harm.

good luck with mr postman, they can be sneaky bastards and let you wait in vein !

Thanks...Have to find out if it´s too big ...always difficult , most Samurai shirts and Jackets have sleeves that are too short for me....that size the sleeves are allright - but maybe the rest of the Jacket is too big..we shall find out soon
