Here's the Seiko I'm rocking.

My dad gave it to me a while ago... I'm not sure about the exact build or model, but it does run on one of those kinetic generators or whatever. (Just shake, haha.)

It used to have a leather band, but I changed it because the humidity in Asia destroyed it...have yet to change it back to leather.

very reliable for the price for sure.

i'm not a huge fan of the daytona, the only thing is that it's commonly known as being ballin. here's the only one i like:

if you ever feel like having a matte black pvd treated rolex, there's an english (i reckon) website that does it, and it cost like only twice the price.

IMO, considering Edmonds style and his desire for collectabililty, i have to go with the Rolex. I'm not a fan of two-tone metals but if Ed likes it, I think that would fit into his style alot better than the other two. Plus a Rolex is going to hold its value and be alot easier to resell than the other two.

I just got a new watch today that I'm very happy with

a breguet would make no sense for a workwear/repro denim aesthetic, but it's the best looking watch of those 3. i know you're not considering them, but if i was considering buying a watch, before i would buy a daytona i would probably buy 5 different breitlings.

hit it right on the head. two-tone daytonas aren't all that attractive imo, and not my favorite of the three, but for collectability and price, it's one of the only watches that will resell close to retail no matter how old it is.
