either one will lose value. a daytona will probably lose less b/c there's generally a stronger resale market for daytonas.

in general, watches are shitty investments. buy whichever one you actually like the best. if you want to invest in something, put the 8k into an ira.

the port you posted blows that two-tone daytona out of the water. who cares whether it'll be worth 70% or 80% of what you paid for it?

i say sell your sub and buy the iwc+seadweller.

i've been wearing a seadweller for the past few months as a daily... it's hefty, but it feels solid. no way in hell i'm going to NEED any of the diving features of it, but it's a solid piece of timewear, and i hate the cyclops on a regular old sub.

dssd, on the other hand, looks ugly as sin. that ring is worthless clutter.

finally, the philippe dufour is sex in watch form. i want one... but i can't find a price. how much do they go for in white gold + enamel face? have to start saving my pennies...

i only saw the philippe and thought it was a patek, so i was poking around at patek's website. i had a stigma attached to them as watches people buy to overcompensate / brag their net worth, but:

almost the same price

daytona is around 7,500

sea dweller is around 7,300

totally agree with Dunkin - the two tone throws off the whole look.

if you already have a Sub than you need to come up with an option C.
