that's such a bad ass watch, i think it was discontinued last year though..

This looks much classier imo

honestly, I bought it with the exact same intentions, but never ended up doing it. The bracelet looks really damn good in real life, pictures don't do it justice.

I received a couple PM's asking about the lumes on the skx031 and aftermarket hands, so here's a lume shot taken in pitch black darkness:

there was no editing done to the photo. there is a very slight difference in shade between the stock face and aftermarket hands.

been studying watches too much lately. Want an IWC Big Pilot...so clean, so hot.

Will likely end up with something 1/7th the cost. I feel a bit odd paying even that much for a watch that's got a movement in it that sells for $140.

Did caress a $50k IWC skeleton. Damn.

Been in the market for a military styled Seiko for some time now, been looking at a few options but most recently become interested in the SNDA21P1.

Anybody ever owned one or know of any caveats that might exist? Pros + Cons? Appreciated.

just picked up a Hamilton Khaki Officer Auto. Built around ETA 2824 movement. Simple, black. Perfect. Until I can shell out for a Big Pilot.

These are Tianjin watch company (aka Seagull) re-issues of a 1963 Chinese air force watch. They cost about $195 USD.

anyone with an opinion on tissot?

this took my eye and is on the cheap. tissot classic dream. otherwise the le locle as posted above looks nice, too. both might be a touch on the thick side for me, though.

any other suggestions? budget 500:

I've loved all the Mark IWC's... it's a great choice... I'd go with the bracelet version myself

if you're looking for symplicity, i've get a mark xv or earlier. the xvi went away from the military feel. it's bigger than the earlier versions and is more dressy, with the polished case. more modern with the redone hands.

depends on what you're looking for i guess.

love the white on black datewheel though.

Really dislike Panerai but this is much better.
