start of my own new wallet. I put a small piece of leather outside for 5 months, through rain and wind and dirt and everything, which is what the shell and inside front pockets are made out of.

I purchased a Uniqlo belt a year ago and I oiled it and wore it for a year. It has the most gorgeous patina. If I get some decent photos I'll post them up.

another holiday update

Many might not be aware, but we sift through hundreds of leather samples each season to hand-pick the best leather for our products. It becomes a daunting process, and many of our favorites don’t make the final cut because of the limited supply available.

These “odd lots” of leather are many times just a couple sides, and can’t be reproduced. We’ve saved a few of these specific hides to use as online exclusives, and have the first two available now in our online shop.

The first is the London Tan Cardholder, constructed from a well-oiled 5 oz. full grain leather that is a bit thicker than our usual 3 oz leather used in the wallet series. The feel and texture is very similar to our London Tan Standard belt introduced a few weeks back, and it’s easily one of our personal favorites to work with. Only a few hides were secured, so only 75 are available.

The second is the Stone Grey Suede Cardholder, constructed from a mid-weight 4 oz. leather. Using suede is a bit of a departure for us, but texture and color combo on this specific leather was too good to pass up. The only downside is that we could only get our hands on enough to construct 20 cardholders, so the supply is very limited.

my leather wallet is stained with indigo from the bleeding of my jeans, am i suppose to clean them off b4 i oil it?

If i need to clean it, how do i do it? Damp cloth, or i need special leather cleaner?
