They run about a half size smaller than normal Chucks. I usually wear a size 12 in modern Chucks and the red ones are a size 11 1/2. My parchment 1946 are a size 11. They are almost to small.

dave - do you live in the US? if so, you should be able to find a red wing store not too far from you (they usually carry the full line). if not, i might be able to buy a pair for you and mail them out. PM me.
