i would recommend you contacting:

and take a look at all the wonderful custom works they do on their blog.

i emailed them a few months ago about the possibility of doing a custom order White, and ship to US,

it all seemed good, and in decent pricing coming from an dealer.

i did not proceed with the full order, but would def do business with them in the future if needed.

coleslawyum, i remember that it seemed only around $50-75 more to do a super tricked out White Rough Out boot with Ultrasound, and they were able to fulfill a particular vibram 4010 customize sole that Whites could not do via direct US custom order. Their prices seem very reasonable,

I got quotes from them just putting together an email of the specs of the boot.

Yin, those are very similar to what i wanted to do, but with a vibram 4010 sole, nice boot, hope things work out with Ultrasound if you end up using them, please keep us in the loop!

Loake Burford , I purchased five weeks ago .The leather Iis supple and has colured well quite quickly . Lashings of brown/oxblood and some black polish applied . Was in my shoemenders today and he had a pair of Trickers Bourton brog shoes in for repair . Firts time i have seen the shoe close up . These are really bulky and heavy with a rounder toe compared to the Loake , QUALITY though !! I have placed an order for some burgundy Loake Royal brogues with a retailer in town , looking forward to these - traditional yet stylish .

a little update on my hunt to find a good nyc cobbler in the same ballpark as

Ive gone to a few places and have been unable to find any of colewslaw's criteria. but i have found some cats paws soles, i have a few in size 9-10 (these are prefect for redwing GTs sized 8-9). Ive yet to find any in my size but oh well, ill happily sell these and if u pm ur size ill grab them if i run across them in my cobbler hunt.

These are GTs in a 10.5 so there a little big but if ur a 9-10 itll be perfect but you should size up one or two so this is probably a good size for an 8-9 in a redwing

Interestingly enough wolverines have a much longer heel shape so u would have to size up a bunch.
