too many pairs:

evisu no.1 2000

samurai black knights

pbj008

uniqlo MIJ regualr fit

dickies black carpenter jeans that i got in 1999

vans black jeans

and 5 pairs of crappy modern era levis of various cuts that i don't wear unless i'm painting something, working on an engine or doing something that would get me covered in motor oil, etc.

so that's 11 pairs of jeans, i only really wear 3 pairs, and right now cause the evisu's are fairly new (purchased in may) they are getting wear every day in order to break them in. maybe i should give away all but one of the levis to make room in my closet.

After a wardrobe clearance, only 2 "real" denim pairs left..

Indigo slim jean from Surface 2 Air (they made pretty good denim btw, even if they're not selvedge.. nice design & great fit)

and a brand new APC New Standard.

Don't wear them too much actually, my A77 black skinny still rocks most of my outfits..

Having 10 pairs of jeans isn't too bad, considering that there are collectors and vintage dealers that have them in the thousands. Even the average douche bag has about 20.

I have a bunch, but I just rock one at a time, I'll probably won't be able to break in all of them in my lifetime.

Right now: Real McCoy's 906, my favorite jeans at the moment.

Levi Lot 53 redlines

Late '60s 505 redlines #6

80's light blue, with a SKOOSH

Dickies denim Talon 42 Made in Mexico

Lee Riders Talon 42 Made in USA boot cut

Tuf Nut Chinos with a repro (?) Talon 42 zipper

Levi Lot 685 bootcut Talon 42 small e brown cords

Levi boot cut Talon 42 big E (gold on black) fern green cords

LVC Homerun t-shirt Spring '03

LVC '54 Sawtooth denim shirt #555

I'm a 40" waist and it seems sourcing larger sizes in vintage is difficult. Perhaps the bigger sizes were worn by obviously bigger guys, who might have ended up wearing them to work and destroying them? Small and medium sizes seem a bit more plentiful?
