Miscellaneous Musings (Limited Edition)

It is entirely relevant because most people seem to be incredibly stupid and complacent. I enjoy a nice, cheap, boiled hot dog now and again, but I can't survive on junk alone. On a side note, junk doesn't define what makes fine dining fine. Taste is not as relative a matter as we like to think.

Media brainwashes children into thinking they are entitled to the world and they are special. Being famous is right outside their grasp and only if they tried, they would bask in the glory too.

The problem is, they aren't special at all. The media perpetuates this notion by manufacturing incredibly mediocre or just downright awful "celebrities" for the weak-minded to chase. Children beg their parents for the CD (do kids still use CDs?), the dancing lessons, voice lessons, auto-tune software, makeover, plastic surgery, cocaine, rehab, and bail.

It's all a media-driven consumption machine.

True, and we can't just blame some plebeian weakness to organized media brainwashing. There are socioeconomic and political motives as well as commercial. You must also blame those who claim to curate and critique cultural phenomenon of all mediums and slither their way into finding merit and claiming some corny enlightenment when it comes to this junk. Yeah, it is relevant. It's relevant to stupidity. So are DUI's and Keg Stands. This has been going on for ages. Dumbed down common denominator cheap-culture is labeled by music journalists over time as culturally relevant while more focused and cerebral works are written off as stuffy or esoteric and elitist.

To prove my point, I will state a truth that will be met with hostility from those who were infected from childhood:

Motown was cheap. Jazz is too easy. Contrary to popular belief, not everything was influenced by the blues (thank god). Nashville country is for morons. All singer/songwriters are complete tools and hip hop is exactly like pro wrestling.

ayo, why does every HS kid I know that's graduating want to be an artist or a fashion designer or an actor or a music producer. I'm hoping it's just the area I'm in or the ones I've come in contact with, otherwise I'm fucking scared for our collective future.

At least they're ambitions farther along than what they asked the kids at my high school.

They asked nothing from us. Expected nothing.

DAMN

imagine

a next-level planetarium experience where you fly through space

or if you shrunk down to the size of a blood cell and traveled throughout the human body

or if you were in the middle of a rainforest

or in the middle of a mt. everest expedition

or in a shake shack kitchen

or in dismalfuture's apartment

or on the set of a hardcore porno movie

Someone bought a jacket from me and I took 5 days to ship out (school is a bitch)

He then opens a paypal dispute and I ship out the jacket and send tracking to him. This was on MONDAY.

Now this asshole is seeing my messages and is still not closing the dispute.

He received the jacket yesterday too.

How do I get my money back?

He also lives in the same city as me.. so I may drop by his house and get my money in cash.
