Just got these SE05BSP's today, doubt they will fit me good after post soak cause their really tight on the thighs, but good on the legs...

You should dip your jeans in lukewarm water, then only soak from the thigh down…then use something to stretch the waist as it dries. You'll be golden. Water will help the denim breathe and stretch easier…though you can wait a week before you do it.

i dunno braidkid. it's a tough call. i think we have the same concerns. and even though kiya told me to buy a 36, i'm thinking of getting the 34 because it has the measurements i'm looking for from the thigh down. and i'll say this, my SEXFH05's were virtually impossible to wear post-soak (i got them already soaked off the supermarket) but i toughed it out and now it is a perfect fit. the waist is even a little loose. i think that as long as it is not ridiculously tight, it will be ok.

One problem I found with SE05BSP's which has been confirmed with another forum member is the first fly button is too close to the top button and is a bitch to button.

Anyone else experienced this and does it get easier with a day or two of stretching?

that button bruised my thumbs. second day with them, a lot easier. the first day i wore them when they were drying, so once the button got in i think it stretched a lot easier.

looking at yours sidney, i don't think i need to hem mine. mine have maybe 1cm more of stacking? i have been gifted with super lanky limbs.

update:: this is some super hairy denim. it looks like straight up fur and people are giving me comments on them.

Wish I had the photography skills as Ordo and Sid, but I don't, nor the camera. Or, maybe, my image posting skills lack. Just got my SE05BSP's sz 34. Got em hemmed to a 38 or so. The fit is slim but I anticipate them being considerably slimmer after soaking. Got them buttoned after the second attempt. That button is a bitch!! Although not soaked yet, I think I may get them tapered again. I want stacking, but not as much as my SEXI04's. The demin is really hairy just like Sidney said. I'm thinking a hot soak from knee down to get rid of all the shrinkage in the legs, inseam, and hem. Then, luke warm soak the top half just to make sure I'll get back in these mafuckas. Let me know what you think.

it looks like a nice slim fit to me. Depends on what you're going for, i guess. From what i can tell, it looks like it fits your proportions right.

It shrinks like all Flat Head jeans with 3xxx denim.

Hot soak that and it's gonna fit like a charm.

It depends how you soak it..

If it's tight in the waist already i'd do just a 20 minute cold soak.. if you've got a lot of room then a 40 minute warm soak would be better.

Post -soak (soaked for 25 mins cold water, air dry)

I think they turned out perfect. I plan to hot soak from the crotch down tonight to slim the legs down, then I should be set.
