Coming up on a year in these S601XX's. Highly recommended if anyone is looking for a pair of war era jeans, looks like FW just released a rerun of them.

Here are some 40 year old STFs that my father used to wear when he worked as a carpenter briefly in the 80s. These are denim perfection imo and all the tar and paint splatter really adds to the character. Bonus picture for oxidized rivets. Regarding washing routine, these would be boiled along with his other work clothes in a large pot outdoors. 7582FB41-7F17-4112-8306-E2AE88680F98.heic

Went on a big hunt a while back for replacement bath towels, and ended up settling on a company called Towels By Gus. From what I gathered, they’re one of two or three companies still using the last remaining domestic (to the US) towel, and of the two or three they seemed the least frilly / decorated. Overall, I’ve been extremely happy with them. Anyway, for anyone who might be in the market: looks like they’re having a pretty big sale right now on the remaining stock of their largest size towel (“bath sheet”, whatever that means). Go wild.

The legs and all the other measurements are correct (based on the chart) for the size 38, but the waist is for a size 34-35 so I will have to endure a muffin top when I decide to wear them. My pair is still raw.

For sale, Roy originals from 2010. These are really more for the collector as they are very worn, although intact but the only damage is on the left front pocket where it's been repaired. There is a thinning area starting on the crotch too. Approximate measurements are as follows- Waist 33" Inseam 31.5 Front rise 11" Back rise 16" Thigh (across from crotch) 12" Hem across 8.5" More photos/details on request. Price £60 (plus postage/shipping)

The SBGW series is lovely. There’s an OEM bead-of-rice bracelet that was made for this case size and is gorgeous, and the simple dials are very clean & pure. This one, the 285, was released in the US with the 283, in pale blue, which might be even nicer if you are not enamored by green. The winding action is smooth and it’s fun to start every day with this small ceremonials. Also, they are a good entry point for Grand Seiko mechanical watches as they’re priced below $5k (for now).

I don't care for the cargo shorts, however I'm excited for the J97-M "Milliken Nylon Stretch Contour Jacket." Light and airy like a runners jacket. Wish it had a hood though.

Good mail day today. Shame that it's scorching hot outside, but I'll put these to good use in the fall. However the tees will get put to use right away. Trying not to spam photos too much since it causes loading issues for some, if anyone wants more photos let me know. M-1938 field jacket, Field Cruiser made from British Millerain waxed cotton, two random striped tees and two graphic tees from the most recent season. I didn't realize the collar was folded until after I took photos...this was quick as I was starting to sweat.

Warehouse 800 purchased from SESF and worn for 14 months. Washed every 6-8 weeks. I’ve owned Ironheart, Strike Gold, Evisu, Flathead, and Samurai and this is hands down my favorite pair.
