I think the 6x6 pima is pretty much their thing now. You can rag on a bulk long-fiber decision or you can rag on yearly-lot short fibers falling apart. I'm surprised they didn't offer polycore stitching, even as entirely separate runs.

^Pics are good...How do you feel about the denim and construction? Look pretty comparable to me but it's hard to tell without actually handling...

The new denim is darker, though in an overdye kind of way. It feels smoother and stronger, with a tighter weave. No difference in construction in these two pairs.

Haha thanks for the thought at least! As for the knees, the denim started to rip on both of them, so I just tore them open. It looks way better than having kneecap-sized holes... in my opinion, anyway.
