Gel,

Why does your pair have a white tab rather than a red one? Did you get them

from Rivet & Hide rather than Japan? Has it been changed for the export market?

Like Bf said: i have the 400t. and this model has a white tab with UES mark in red.

I bought it directly from UES webshop.

Here is the post soak measurement (about 45min with some agitation in slightly warm water) inches and cm

Waist:34,2" / 43,5

Thigh:13,18" / 33,5

Inseam:31,3 (was hemmed to a 33) / 79,5

Knee:9,05" / 23

Hem:7,9" / 20

Now it's time to wear them. Unlike you rafa i will not put it in the machine for a hot wash.

I don't know yet if i'll do another soak with hotter water. will see with the fit.

Compare to your measurement Rafa is approximately the same post soak measurement my waist don't shrink that much.

grand job there Rafa! enjoyed the pictures and your quality posts a lot. look forward to see the fabric in flesh, from the photos it looks like a slighty pale hue of blue, almost '66 style.

That's a great fit Finn. Can't wait to see how they look post-soak! Here are my post-soak measurements on my 400R, sized 30 (for Sugar Mountain). I did one hot soak (hot enough that I could touch without getting burned) and one warm wash, then hang-dried.

pre | post

waist: 15.5" | 14.5"

front rise: 10.5" | 10"

back rise: 13.25" | 12.5"

thigh: 12" | 11.25"

knee: 9.25" | 8.5-8.75"

hem: 8.5" | 8-8.25"

inseam: 36" | 33.75"

The back rise is a little lower than I'm used to, but luckily I was able to stretch out the waist so they sit more comfortably near my hips. I'll try to get some pictures up as soon as possible.

Just received them too. I ordered the one wash version and half expecting them to be crunchy and stiff but to my surprise, they are pretty soft. The softness of the denim is definitely something very different from my sammies. Wonder how on earth can they form such defined whiskers and honeycombs on those faded pairs?
