Does anybody know where this skirt the lovely mrs. Kerr is wearing is from? My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and she's been talking about it - but she doesn't know where it is from - so I want to surprise her!

Should I just email a brand's PR if I want to help out during their Fashion Week show? Obviously talking about small New York brands like Zero+Maria, Geller, or Ervell.

Dear all!

My name is Morten Isachsen, living in Oslo Norway and right now planning a trip to Tokyo and probably some other cities in Japan around the 19-25th of June (a month from now). My wife and I are running a new fashion brand called Tom Wood, right now doing high quality jewellery, but launching both clothes and shoes this fall.

I would love to visit some great quality factories in Japan next month and wonder if some of you might know about someone worth visiting. I am looking for mad quality stuff for both heavy duty jerseys (sweats and t-shirts), raw denim, suits and jackets. As for shoes we work with some of the very best leathershoes-manufacturers in Italy.

Any help would be highly appreciated and I do promise some Norwegian chocolate, cheese and stockfish in return. If you know about a super duper Tokyo-guide available for fun and some money, I might need that as well. ;-)

Feel free to reply here or send contact me at morten@tomwoodjewellery.com.

Kind reg.

Morten

I really like these side zip/lace boots that are made by Bottega Veneta. However, they are sold out and are selling for more then retail on places like eBay. Does anyone know of a boot that looks the same/similar from a different company? Looking for something that is high quality, but doesn't need to be as high quality as the original. Thank

is it wrong that i think those look disturbingly like clarks?

*edit:

viberg does several boots in a similar silhouette, but not side zips unfortunately

Most side zip lace ups I could find are combat boots with a bigger/more bulbous toe

Yeah I seem to only find that as well, and I also can't find an "extended" chukka boot that goes up as far.

Anyone knows where I can buy an overcoat with a slightly oversized silhouette and shoulders that are not overly padded? I'm looking for something similar to the one in the picture in terms of lenght and fit (sorry for the bad quality, I know you can barely see it).

This is a longshot, but does anyone know where I can purchase a couple of CobraX fasteners? I only need TWO and Riri won't sell them at such a low quantity. Hoping there's an enterprising designer on here willing to pawn off a couple from their stash :)

Does anyone know any cheap cp derby alternatives? I'm in high school and really don't have the budget to drop $300+ on shoes. $150 and under would be preferable.

-Thanks

Hey folks. Desperately looking for help identifying a series of slow motion video-portraits I discovered through SuFu years ago: they are extremely slow motion videos of creatives (I think?) in their natural street style, simply turning in a circle and/or staring directly into the camera. I have distinct memory of one with snow falling. The subjects don't speak from what I remember, but there might be piano music playing in the background. They're incredibly sharp quality-wise, and run on the shorter side. There were a series of these done. Sorry I don't have any images to share.

Beautiful almost brand new Dior cocktail dress, red, long, without leeves. Couture masterpiece. Perfect for a gala, a wedding, a cocktail. Red passion, sensual, elegant and feminine. I only wore it once for the AMFAR charity event last year 2016 at Festival of Cannes. Made in France, bought in France. 100% silk. 36 European size, 4 US size. Perfect state, almost brand new. Bought for 9000euros in Dior Cannes boutique, selling it for 5500euros or 6000dollars. Free shipping.

As the current DWC has drawn to a close there have been the inevitable questions from all over the cyberspace, which I occupy, as to whether there will be another contest for 2017 – 2019. Today I am pleased to make the announcement that there will be, and confirm a few details about what to expect.

The theme of the latest DWC will be “back to basics”, meaning we’re going to scrap everything from the previous contests and make this one as accessible to everyone as it possibly can be, this means…

Any brand or style of jeans can enter. There will be no weight categories, just one contest fits all. All entered jeans must have only 30 wears or less on day 1 of the contest. Speaking of day 1, the contest will begin on 01/11/17 and run for the standard 24 months to 01/11/19. The contest will be purely forum based, on both Superfuture and the Iron Heart forum only. Registration is open now, and will close 31/10/17. Registration fee for the contest will be a flat $20, payable via Paypal to denimworldchampionship@gmail.com . Upon registration you will be issued an entry number to validate your participation. The entry fee will be used to purchase prizes from our favourite brands and retailers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Prizes will be announced as soon as possible after registration is complete. Once again we have something quite special planned with our friends at Iron Heart for contest jeans. Our judging panel is currently TBD.
So that is all for now, we’re looking forward to setting off on another denim journey with you all again soon.

      Regards,

      Mega
