Evisu is still loved!

Had something in the post this morning for my growing collection.

This also pretty much confirmed the Evisu I posted a few months back with no rear patch or lot number must have been 2001's I think as these when laid on top come pretty close. Though having said that they still felt bigger than this pair but no matter on with the photos!

Let me know what you guys think. really not sure about planning on wearing them as the cut is a little big for my taste to the moment although they do fit really comfy round the top block and the waist is slightly tight however the kinda tight you feel when you know you sized them right.....if that makes sense.

The pictures are taken in pretty direct light, the second photo the denim appears a bit lighter than it is in person. I don't think these have had much wear from what I can see.

Ha, I do a fair bit of hunting about. Although I must say I think the real "gem finder" is CTB!

Had to have these, flasher was there, good ink stamp, near deadstock condition? 90%?, my size, first pair of evis for me these so pretty happy with them.

Thanks flash, I will get some pics up probably tomorrow.

One reason they feel bigger to me than usual from the knee down is probably because all I've worn for the last year is lot2005

Flash these fit pics are the best I could do with an iphone!

Double cuffed at bottom and should I choose to actually wear them i would probably get them hemmed as I doubt they will shrink much being no.2!

They do feel relaxed compared to 2005. And tbh I have a relaxed round my arse way of wearing jeans which may explain the slightly roomy part on rear thigh area in the side view shots lol.

In the first photo there appears to be a white mark next to the front right pocket which isn't there in real life and the same kind of mark next to the button fly in picture 3. Don't know how that happened but i did have to go and just double check again it wasn't there to make sure....luckily I'm all good lol.

Yeh I agree I should pull them up, it's just typical of me to wear them down in my hips like that. Force of habbit!

Decent footwear is needed I've been looking for some nice boots recently which is the next thing on my list really. Although I do like my toms!

Might just snap another side shot with them on 'properly'

Also side note but....search this item number on eBay, cheap deal!!?!? 310788580651

Right here it is.

Tbh as soon as I pulled them up and noticed that it's kinda how they should be worn or at least it felt that way to me I realised that I liked the cut quite a bit more than I did originally.

The denim on these does feel particularly nice to me, they're still fairly hairy tbh making them feel nice and soft. Don't know if it's to do with when they were made but i would say they feel better first off in terms of touch than my red line selvage no2 2005's. Maybe just the difference in the denim runs more than period of time they were made?

They felt a lot better worn like this. Still getting some hip flare as is usually the case with this kinda cut I would have thought?

Nice mate, I have a similar pair of No.2's with the fatter gulls in the same cut and the fit is the same on me. I feel like its a nice change to tighter fits and I usually wear mine in the factory at work, especially in the colder weather. I love knowing im wearing an original vintage pair of Evis before they were 'molested' by Levi's lolz. They will compliment you 2005's well. The cut isnt the most fashionable nowdays but when you're in the mood for some vintage lovin' they'll be good for a wear.

@devilva couldn't of said it better myself, still going on 2005 at moment they are fading nicely now. Will get some pics up at some point when they have a wash little while away yet though lol.

@warakia

Yeh it's straight after when they were dry. Bit of stretching to come I'd have thought but nothing major!

What size you get? Mine are tag 32 measure 16.5" across when been back on for a few hours pretty much to pre wash measurement!

Hmmm that's the problem isn't it....like when I first got these my waist was as it is now and they measured 16" across when new and felt tight but right tbh. A year later after a few washes and a lot of wear they measure 16.5 across. Basically have stretched to how I like tbh.

One of the problems is like what do ya do....a lot of stuff coming out new from Evisu Japan is measuring a whole size smaller when raw in some cases maybe more by the sounds of it, risky business sizing these days sometimes!

Atleast you get to buy some more denims :D

Anyone have any info on what the tab reads?

「エビスヤデã€(Ebisuyade) means "It is Evisu" or "It's an Evisu" in Kansai-ben, or the wonderful Japanese dialect we proudly use in Osaka.

Great jeans BTW.
