going outside there was the muffling noise of german Schlagermusik in the air.a frightening version of middle-of-the-road hitsoundmusic from the late sixties/seventies with feelgood words and crappy arrangements.

once a year the hell comes down on Hamburg,with a streetparade of 400.000 people,dressed like hippies from a cheap version of Hair,accompanied by 50 trucks pumping out this awful sound.

after i while our son became bored and started to tease the others,so we were kicked out to do something useful,picking up her resoled shoes from the cobbler.

ive never been there before,but its a great little shop which is offering bespoke shoes in any colour and lots of different leathers for 385,-€.

those black ones are for finding your size

in the lower left corner you see a pair of boots ca. 100 years old. the women behind the counter didnt know much about them and i could only take this two shots before my battery died but i will be back there soon for more info and pics.

these are her bootcut-olas,i could not even jump into them.or i never tried-if i could squeeze in that would be sufu style 2006-size down three!

shes wearing my old pair of RRDS from time to time,i will wait til she forgets about them to cut them apart for repairjobs.
