finding this thread shifted back to page 5 (!) makes me feel guilty for not updating enough.but last weekend was a bit exhausting and i was in need of some recovery til now.lets start from the beginning.friday evening i packed my Vespa to follow an invitation from the Lambrettaclub of Germany to join their scooterrally,which was fortunately just 50kms away.

weather was lovely so i decided to wear my summersuit for such a short journey...

than more and more clouds appeared,this was the last pic before the sky opened up:

I made a break at a nearby supermarket to wait for the rain to stop,used the chance to fill up with beer and tobacco,waited for the rain to stop,smoked some,waited for the rain to stop,smoked more and drank one beer,waited for the rain to stop but the rain refused.so i thought fuck the rain,its just 7 kms away,and rode on.

upon arrival i was soaked down to my underpants.

and the rain had stopped.

after saying hello to friends old and new,putting the tent up and having some more beers,The Busters,a german ska/reggaeband entered the stage and played a neverending set:

which was followed by a party inside going on all night long...

i can never stand still, if there is ska music or northern soul playing. you will see me dancing forever. but how can you dance with those red wings soles, hahaha. nice floor by the way. looks like an incredible night.

fardin: the floor was excellent for some some shuffling,esp. with worn down RW crepesoles! just drink what i had and you will even dance in plateau-boots!

always remember,if you dance a lot drinking enough is very important.

plan for today was to meet with a friend and his kids to go to a nearby circus.we where nearly there but the weather forced us to seek shelter under a bridge

the circus itself is a small familybusiness,their show is pretty simple compared to the big professional ones.but they encourage the kids to take part and there is 100% no cruelty to animals (no real wonder here,if i counted right their livestock contents a knackered horse,3 goats and a little terrier)

that horse placed a dump a second later...

instead of animals they are cruel to chairs and chins

all in all a quite amusing and very charming show,esp. for the kids

we managed to catch the very last show in our town,minutes after the show ended they started to take the tent down

on the way back the kids were in need of a little adventure

this beautiful place is right in the middle of Hamburg,not far from the Botanic garden i covered two weeks ago
