These are the only batch of arizona cotton skulls 5010xx produced if I'm not wrong. 6 months of wear. 2 hot soaks. 1 beach soak. 1 machine wash.

Bonus : My pug, Monster, waiting for me to finish the photos.

I would really like to see some pictures of the apparent 'issues' with the recent batches of Skull Jeans.

The blog post Snake linked explains a lot and restores my faith that nothing is wrong with Fabfour/Skull jeans, but then a (presumably) Japanese reply in the comments sections says that, regarding the new stock, the "quality of stitch is off-point and the denim is stock."

Or are these quality issues referring to new stocks of 5010's and 5507's?

^ I agree, seems like even though they are trying to calm our minds, there are still many people who believe the quality of the new batch are subpar. I would be interested to see what first-hand owners think, and also the apparent issues with the quality also.

I can see Skull's image and rep being tarnished here, and not in the sexy brass evo kind of way.... some justifications and backing up of the claims are needed!

i have the new skulls zero denim, but im still a denim newb (first pair of "serious" denim) so if you guys tell me what to look for in "shitty denim quality" id be happy to answer questions about it

don't need to soak your 5507s, in my experience with skulls they hardly shrink at all, i own a pair of 5507s and 5010s

looks like they are holding up well, the waist measurement just throw's me off a little on the zero model

well they are low rise so worn on the lower hip... these ended up stretching about half an inch after a month, (tagged 31, measure 34.5)

so id suggest sizing down one from your true waist
