these fit okay, but i'm wishing i would have gotten a 30 instead of a 31. i feel like the bunching at the bottom is.. too thick. i'm thinking about getting them hemmed, or buying a size 30 when i go to nyc in a few weeks.

nah dude, the 5507xx are fantastic, i highly recommend them. i have the 5010xx aswell, check some of my WDYWT pics if you want a comparison. both are amazing jeans though, you wont be disappointed either way you go.

from memory, the leg opening is about the same, as is the rise. i guess you could check the measurement PDFs for that.

the 5010xx is definitely much slimmer from the knee up, and a heap slimmer in the seat. i have the older version of the 5507xx, so mine is zip fly.

Yea, the 5507 is not as tight, I tried both pairs on at selfedge, but couldn't decide which one I wanted.

I must have gotten a tad bulkier in a damn week....cuz these 5507s fit tighter than i thought! But maybe its cuz I just ate lunch 45 minutes ago.... Anyhow, breaking em in now, can't wait for these bad boys to get tamed

Thanks a lot. I could theoretically fit into a 30W but I was warned that the raw 6x6's can shrink a bit after a hot soak so I thought that they were a bit ambitious.

The 31's would have been perfect but I wanted to be able to ride in them a lot (which is another reason I got them hemmed) so went up to the 32's which have turned out mint...
