I bought a Skinny Guy NF elephant # 2 with size 29 (my actual size is 28)

and you want to ask, if i up-size one of the original size I would feel comfortable???

because some of my friends suggested to use my actual size, but my other friendssuggested to up-to-size 2 size Because the fabric is heavy-fabric is 22oz

this is my first heavyweight fabrics

taking up-to-size 1 from my actual size (size 29). is it the right decision??

Hi everybody,

First post here. I am looking at getting a pair of the Weird Guy Selvage Duck, but I'm not sure about how they will stretch. I usually wear a size 30 WG (been through 4 pairs) but find that they stretch at least an inch in the waist. Without significant stretch I would probably be 31 in WG.

Do people who have purchased the weird guy Duck have any info on how much they stretch? Should I go with my normal Weird Guy size or move up 1 inch?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I used blue owl's measurements to guide me, and I sized down one on my normal WG size. i.e. I bought 29's instead of my normal weird guy 30. The fit is spot on, though I can't speak about stretch. These are really nice pants. I'm still a little pissed with myself for brushing up against the chainring of my bike yesterday. Now there's a greasy ring impression on the leg and I'm searching for the right stain remover.

N&F x Uncle Otis Weird Guy Cinch Back

Info:

Denim specialist Naked & Famous has produced a special jean option for Toronto men’s fashion boutique, Uncle Otis. This pair of denim pants weighs about 16 oz, a slightly heavier version compared to the average pair, and features a cinch back detailing, which is a new design aspect for Naked & Famous. Cut in the brand’s signature Weird Guy fit, the selvedge pants come complete with silver metal ware and a subtle branded tag.

They look black to me, but not sure no info on colour yet. And they are not up on Uncle Otis' webshop yet either.

what do you guys think of the fit?? I'm hoping once they break in they'll be more comfortable since my nuts are kinda being crushed since my boxers are getting bunched up..no room to push my boxers down.

E2 tag 28 ( measures 14" flat) I'm 5'6 120 pounds w/ a 29 true waist. I can button the top one ONLY. Hoping once they stretch just a tad I can pull em down to where I normally wear my pants.

I can button only the top but then it's crushing my junk....about to return and size up to 29.Judging by the pics do you guys think it will stretch enough to button them from where the jeans are sitting on my waist?

It's hard for me to judge if these will stretch that much since they're so thick and stiff. I got 28's since BlueOwl says they measure 29 which they actually measure true to tag.

lckychrmsbboy, I had E2s in Weird guy, and they will stretch.

Here is what I did, sleep in them for a night or two, without any boxers on (commando) try and button up the top button if you can. They should stretch out, for me they did after one night.

To get the button holes to loosen up I put a candle lighter in teach hole, push it all the way down to fully stretch them out, and make it pliable.

After a night or two they should be good to go.

Rookie mistake, its all about boxer briefs when it comes to slim fitting denim.

Pretty difficult to wear boxer if you go with skinny fit during the initial stage but once they stretch out or soften, it should be ok. From my experience with SG, you usually size 1 down but i am not so sure about the thicker e2
