Looking to get a pair of Danner mountain lights II for hiking and

all I'm finding is the standard brown with green laces everywhere.

They don't look terrible but the various colors on all of the Japanese sites

are soooo badass. Possible to get these anywhere in the states?

They sold these in the Red Wing store and said it was made in the same factory.

Good catch, but I was under the impression they were made in Minneapolis since I asked him if they were and he said yes. He could be wrong though.

Regardless, even if it was made in the same Chinese Red Wing factory, I'm sure the quality is well worth the 100 bucks the pair of boots costs. I'm sure much better than the other ones higher up this page...

Regarding chinese made RW, I have a pair of Worx that I hate.... never fit quite right, no shape to the foot bed, doesnt breath, bad leather.

Sadly it appears that they have stopped manafacturing shoes but still operate in Maine as a retailer for other brands and any you might find would be used/deadstock

they did have some interesting styles
