You really made my day and  I can't stop watching them.

 

 

It would be an honour to display them for a few weeks at the Jeansmuseum at any time to keep the raw denim spirit alive to the visitors

 

I think, you should participate together with rain dog or canders or dingo or from other hardcore raw denim trasher on the Last man standing competition and sending your jeans to hell for another 2 years!!!

Two more shots, as they just got their 15th wash.  I'm only washing on delicate and hang drying now, as that will keep the frays from tearing and I don't think I can pull off those massive rips like yo_mj in my work place.  The texture everywhere is just out of this world at this point.

Anyone else think it's a shame that rain's mastery isn't at all se locations?  With hers you can't even tell there's been a repair, while those pretty much look like a darning machine barfed up somethin nasty.  Guessing those at sela?

It's interesting what's changed for me in terms of what I consider "heavy". Maybe it's because I spent all spring and summer wearing 25 and 23 oz denim, but these 21 oz'ers I'm wearing now aren't cutting it for me in terms of warmth, haha. Freezing my ass off on the daily and it's not even officially winter yet.

'More of a 14-15oz guy, myself__ imo, it's the ideal weight & yields the best overall denim jeans evo/fade.

Theyre definitely great, very shiny and smooth and started from a purple black and faded to this deep blue 

 

IMHO these are the jeans everyone should look at first for a standard indigo / black

I created an account in 2007 to post pictures of fades. Today, the day has finally come. These are $60 Levi's. The only one I could afford, and frankly the only one I had to wear for most of the time.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention the figures. I really didn't care about this pair, and I guess that's where the fades start to kick in. To be honest, I once saved up for APCs—props to Denimbar to be one of the few to ship to Malaysia then—but shipping was exorbitant, so I couldn't return/resell it when I realised I sized wrongly. Nevertheless, I still wore it, and focused so much on getting fades that it just never happened. 

Wore this pair for four years maybe? Average wear-time was a few days per week. Went paintballing and to the beach in them and stuff. Probably 6 washes. Am looking to get a new project pair soon, no idea what to get.
