I had to do some gardening today so these got pretty filthy, I will be washing them a bit later on tonight if I don't drink too much and pass out!!

Just got their 9th wash after 12.5 months, worn daily. Interestingly, they shrunk more than normal in the dryer this time (size 31, waist now measuring 30"). This is great, considering that I'm about 8 pounds lighter than I was at the start of the competition, thanks to cleaning up my diet for the sake of my competitive marathoning.13182899285_f470024b53.jpg13182901345_948ed51249.jpg

They've made a lot of progress over the last 4 months, largely thanks to the fact that they've gone skiing 44 times since mid-November. :)

Oh, and color is pretty accurate here.

Got drunk on Monday, slipped and fell, did a backwards somersault, saved it and landed on my feet (hell yeah), but then my momentum carried me backwards again and I did the same roll backwards into a bunch of mud. Jeans were pretty caked in mud after and I had recently washed them. Took a brush to it after the mud dried and now its pretty hard to tell there was even mud on them!

Here's a quick snap

Since I'm taking loads of pics for eBaying stuff and the light is great right now, I took some pictures of my trusty old Levi's jacket. I got this jacket maybe 10 or 12 years ago. I think I remember that I didn't wash it for the first 3 or 4 years. Got 5 or 6 washes since then. Plus, many, many rain soaks of course :D

It's a plain normal denim jacket, originally in a pretty dark wash without any artificial pre-distressing. Just shows that all denim will fade if worn long enough :) You can see the original color under the pocket flaps. For some years I wore a patch on the left sleeve as you can see by the dark spot it left. I'm pretty amazed that there's even some whiskering on the sleeves.

Since I got this jacket long before I got into raw denim there's no before pics ;)

In retrospect I should have sized down one size because it's slightly too big in the shoulders and arm-length-wise, but I bought it at a time when slim fit wasn't part of anyone's vocabulary.

Just making sure everyone saw these... you saw them right? here they are again... just so you can keep looking at them. again.. damn these are good.

Haven't really worn these legends for years at this point. I should repair the leg rip and give them one last ride.
