The prometheus hype is really confusing me, have people not seen the shit ridley scott's directed in the past years?

One well-cut, Inception style trailer later and everyone's cumming on themselves. I really think people are setting themselves up for disappointment.

Robin Hood wasn't that bad (was it?). I liked Kingdom of Heaven, moreso than a lot of swords and sandals flicks.

Anyway, I make a point to never watch trailers, or even read up on movies online. I prefer to go in cold.

I don't know if he can be tough enough without awkwardness. And yes the pads...if you take liberties and spring for a more slender O.S.S. badass look, you need a tough little fucker.

We'll see. Few of my friends enjoyed the first one but I loved it and it's not an easy benchmark.
