Got really baked after only smoking brown weed all summer, Made smoked mackerel pate (meat paste) with some white cider vinegar, some coriander from the garden, two bits of fish and a bit of olive oil.

before that a friend of mine baked me some bacon, pulverised pea and carrot pasties, but he did let me mix up the dough. It was in payment for a patch job that i did for him. After that my housemate cooked the rest of us baked salt herring, sliced cabbage and vinegar with beetroot and white cabbage. there was vinegar, but i've no idea if it was Sarson's or the old cheap white cider vinegar that the previous tenant of his room left behind.

I have no idea what i had for breakfast. That was a long time ago.

but i'm about to go to 24 hour spar, it's too late to sleep.

Xx

Just had dinner with a friend at Montreal's Dominion Tavern Square - hip place, gives a 1920s Vintage feel.

The bar is sick. I got inspired to make a bar like that of my own someday.

I had some soup, salad and some really good bangers and mash. This place serves British classics, with some minor French influences.

This was our desserts:

From left to right: Nutmeg Donuts and Paris-Brest. The donuts were heavenly amazing. Did I say they were delicious? The Paris Brest was a nice switch to a cooler, denser dessert. Sick place. If you're in town, you should definitely pay this place a visit! Their cocktails are off the hook.

Didn't mean to neg. At work they do this dish (haven't tried it at home)where you can take the skin off, put salt and pepper on it and lay it flat on a baking tray and put it in the oven and you end up with chicken skin chips.

i should try that next time, as on the pan the skin produces a dangerous amount of oil. long chopsticks aren't long enough :(

just out of curiousity, how much do you guys pay per plate at dim sum? it was $2.38 for early afternoon time. i see as cheap as $1.89 but it is usually worse. particularly interested in american prices

Love those prometheus springs drinks. The owner of that company was doing a demo at my job this past summer and, knowing I was a fan of his stuff, dropped me a bottle or two which was nice.
