think i'm too kawaii-wannabe? here's where i got it from - my mum got bored in the office, and decided to personify her fruits. this one was terrified of impending doom having witnessed his counterpart decorticated alive.

breakfast - muesli, double espresso

lunch - chicken, tomato, cucumber, beetroot, jalapeno and pesto sandwich on wholemeal grain bread, banana

dinner - hainan chicken rice, pepsi max

snacks - iced chocolate

Anyways, had more luck with supper. Again with Daddo's and Aunty too this time.

Hong Kong noodles done Malay-style, fried rice with salted fish (da ABSOLUTE bomb :D) and chilli padi and Bee Hoon noodle soup (so-so).

Photos taken by my camera phone, which explains lack of quality...

nice work on the pasta, but where's the pesto (i.e., basil-garlic-oliveoil-pinenuts-cheese)?

it's the red stuff - it's pesto with bell peppers. and yes, you can buy swedish food in singapore. hallelujah for ikea!

crashed after work at 1.30am, woke at 4.30am, surfed superfuture, made breakfast at 7.50am, surfed superfuture, slept at 12.30pm, woke at 2.40pm to this:

It was brrr-time and not even monsoon season yet. I settled for some hot lovin' of the congee kind.

had sainsbury's continental delight chocolate brioche

with my fave cuppa tea today! flavour is 'ceylon' this time.

beats english breakfast tea i guess...

ok another german dish:

- salad

- fried semolina pudding with stewed cherries and pears

this is a really old fashioned dish people ate after world war 2 cause it was very cheap and made people full

yes it is! tasty stuff. had cans of it lying around after the ol' 农历新年, so just trying to clear it before it expires.

that fried semolina pudding with stewed cherries and pears looks good felix
