Out, unusually early, for what I guess you could call breakfast (9am). What's on the menu? Everything but the typical Bacon and Egg. Honey Dew Milkshake (mud thick), Chili Cheese Fries, Katsudon, Yakiniku Rice Burger (rice bun concept is always a win).

Next day, things weren't quite back to normal. Reduced back to the usual coffee, this one's from a Mediterranean (/ Persian / Indian) cuisine place. Turkish Coffee brewed in (what I'm guessing was) rose water. I couldn't quite tell if I liked it or not. Hard match of tastes to reconcile.

Dinner at the tail end of the same day. Shrimp and Chips, and a rice dish I can't seem to remember the name of. Gumbo? No, something close to that region nonetheless.

^ Wow. That looks incredibly nom. I'm incredibly big on seafood, mostly cause of the fact that only a few people get it right.

Lunch, (parents home from the Americas with Ribeyes) Steak Two Ways (one on skillet, second a Teppanyaki-style version). Seasoning for me was just butter, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Rested, and increasingly getting closer to that Medium Rare.

Very late shot of the Mom's Teppanyaki-style (no rest whatsoever, and still amazingly tender. Left me in "???").

And finally one of the dishes that the Moms just does incredibly well, Paella (always, too good).

not bad, legumes will be coming into season and you could do a lot of interesting things with the various squashes and zucchinis as well, wraps and basket weaves, etc.
