Are there any fans of the more chilled out House music (non electro?) here, that could recommend something more traditional or pure house? Artists like Roy Davis Jr, Danny Tenaglia or Miguel Migs that I could check out? I liked the Maison (Dragonelle) and Justin Long recommendations. All this Dan Le Sac and Justice stuff has me feeling a little French Fried. (Put away your knives, and go easy on this Gen Xer. the thing that makes Cameo stand out head and shoulders above similar artists of their genre is the seemingly really drunk guy yelling shit in the background. it adds an entertainment value that you just can't step to.

it's funny, but although i go through the various blogs, i don't often go to the bloggers' myspace pages. while onoff has great taste, i find their productions pretty mediocre. either too technoish or in the past just too hiphop/jungle oriented.
