LOVED it for some parts and some others were boring (same with j'ai tué ma mère).

Absolutely hate the girls in it (sup isabelle) and Xavier Dolan is overhyped (omg hipster teenager doing films about gay teenagers, etc.)

Good film tho.

just caught a free advance screening of the new Emma Watson and the Deathly Hallows... Actually not too bad of a film, if you can ignore the freakin terrible elf voice acting. Some of the locations shots are awesome...

Watched Jason Stackhouse finally get to be a cop last night in an Australian revenge western that had a villain out of a horror movie. Leone nods in the action sequences. Worth checking out.

I have seen this movie a few times and never realised that the characters played by Pacino and De Niro are based on an actual cop (Chuck Adamson) and a heist artist (Neil McCauley). Apparently the diner scene, and the robbery where De Niro gets spooked by Pacino's men, both actually happened in real life.
