Bridge of the Times

@beautiful_FrEaK I have to admit, I've been in shorts most of this summer and haven't spent much time in these yet.
I've lived in Texas for 12 years now and this was the summer that broke me, just been too damn hot!
Here's how they look right now, my only complaint is the back rise is a little low and the front pocket openings are too small (but not nearly as bad as some other brands).
Once we get a break from the heat I'll be wearing these again.

Seems he changed his offer. You can somehow order jeans now through mail or IG but it is limited to 50 orders. And I don't know when it will start (maybe still July 13th !?)

It's interesting, he has quite long lead time (10+ months) yet he is increasing his channels. Besdies Neat Style he will also sell at Crossover. So maybe he will start making more batches like Ooe is doing and will reduce the custom pairs. Or he will hire staff?!

Does he ask for payment in advance? He might maintain his current operating model and build up a long waiting list, like some other characters that have previously been discussed on this forum!

If I recall correctly when I ordered my pair I paid up front, but the wait times weren't nearly as long.
I think I only waited about four months? It's been a couple years so my memory is foggy.
Hopefully he manages his backlog better than some others, seems like he is keeping that in mind.

Tried my jeans on yesterday and they fit better than I remember, I've just been distracted with other pairs.

Just checked the website again and noticed he charges different prices for Japanese vs international customers. And this is before shipping.

Tax free Japanese price is 33k ¥ which is around 200€. With tax it's 220€.

Yet the price quoted for my country is around 270€. Plus shipping and import taxes. Another turn off besides the lead time.

Yup seeing the same thing in the US, priced at $299 but then add an additional $103 for shipping?!
Seems way too rich imo, I had thought about a pair of the S824XX wartime model jeans at some point but the extra cost and extended wait just isn't worth it.

Similar situation... I asked Buaisou if I could pay in Yen and they said yes. Worth the question. A deliberate mark up exclusively for internationals is off the mark... unless there is a justication I can't think of?

@MJF9 That’s great to know; their USD prices area generally way higher than domestic. All I’ve bought direct from them is a couple bananas, so no huge hit, but being able to pay their listed JPY price would make me way more likely to order more in the future

^ this is something I don’t like about Cottle. I’ve not gotten anything from them for a few years in large part because the prices are insane but for JPY it’s a good bit different. Still pricey but not that same.  I’ve often wondered about proxy but never tried.
