My pride and joy. APC New Cure. Hemmed and tailored myself. had them for 2 years and never washed them until after a crotch blowout. haven't worn them since the wash.

A break from all the snowy pictures. Just came back from a family vacation in Indonesia on Gili Trawangan and Bali. Weren’t too many pictures with the denim, except from travelling days I only wore them at night when the temperature dropped slightly. And I wasn’t as moody as I look in the pictures, just a stupid “pose for the camera†face.

Just a few days now until i've worn these 365 days, just took a few pics now before I leave them for repair and as soon as a get them back they'll get their first wash. You can really see the patina on the thighs now.

 

 

 

I love the light fadings that are starting to come on the calfs

Time to do the monthly update! Almost halfway to the finishline now boys.

 

My Steel Feathers are holding up quite well. I've had to do some repairwork but I guess that's expected from 100% cotton threads.

The jawns are a little less blue in reality. I've tried to set it straight with a tad of vibrance adjustment but I didn't wanna go nuts with it.
 

 

The patch has gotten some cracks in it but came back to life after two turns of minkoil treatment.

 

Loving the traintracks on the backpockets more and more.

 

 

Last but not least a shot on the fabric for the pockets and yoke. Can't wait to see the threads true rainbow color showing through.

Thanks for the word Ruedi! But a disappointment for you is that I've made my first wash

 

Yes, so first wash after 365 days of wear, did a quick cold machine wash and I'm really happy with the result. They shrank 2 inches in the waist, witch isn't really a surprise since they are two sizes too small in the waist. But they stretched out fast again though. 

 

Since I was about to wash them I could at least get them even dirtier so I wore them while I was sanding a lot of polyester.

The light disappeared when I was about to picture the back and fit pics after wash, I'll get them tomorrow.

Has it been another year already? I´m baffled… One year ago to this day I posted the first pictures of my pair of IH 634s. They have been worn on a daily basis and not washed but only soaked once. I plan to wash them in june so that I can wear clean jeans to my wedding…

My s5000 are starting to give up in the crotch area after 8,5 months of wear. But it seems that most of the wear of the material started after I started to commute by bicycle to work.

 

So, since they started to become see-through in the crotch area I decided it is high get them repaired and fix the cuff at the same time.

Got my jeans back from repairs just before the weekend. Glad to be back in them, J

Had the crotch, top of inside pocket and cuffs fixed. Thanks to the guys at Unionville.se
