I went TTS, might have sized up in retrospect. post fit pic later.

here is my alpha reissued MA-1. it is reversible to green w blood chit. 

I would actually stay TTS although it can be a little constricting trying to wear on top of hoodies.

just received my alpha industries ma-1 (regular fit)...to be honest, the quality is way better than i was expecting and the fit isn't too bad although i am considering exchanging for a size smaller. as discussed ad nauseum, its super short, wide and puffy like traditional flight jackets so if you want something long and slim look elsewhere. the one huge downside that i've never seen mentioned is how fucking loud this thing is when you move around or walk, it reminds me of george costanza and his whooshing pants.

how should a ma-1 jacket normally fit? my chest is 34" and I'm not sure if this 41" chested bomber fits me well or slightly too big. I wear 38-39" shirt/sweater fyi.
