random stuff to put in ur pockets

i wonder if anyone puts their asthma inhaler in their back pocket. that would look really nerdy.

Guilty as charged; I refuse to carry a 'manbag' so it has to be carried somewhere. I got caught out a few years ago when I never carried it, and not going to go through that again...

i feel like planning out stuff to put in your pocket is kind of like sandpapering to get wear. just do what you do in jeans.

Second that. If you're putting stuff in ya pockets just to get the 'right' fades then you need to look up 'individuality' in the dictionary. It's supposed to be a snapshot of your life, not a petition to be accepted as a clone or sheep.

For me:

Front pockets: nothing 'cept housekeys

Coin pocket: mobile phone

Left back: inhaler, cash, travelcard

Right back: gum; old Altoids tin used to carry nicotine lozenges, my substitute for a 'baccy tin

I don't understand why people look down at people that want to plan out what they put in their back pockets. So what if you want to put brass knuckles in your pockets. Does that mean you're trying to get accepted? Absolutely not. People do things because they want to. It's exactly the same as why put anything at all in your pockets? Because you want to. An altoid box or tobacco container can be seen as just the same as someone else who puts brass knuckles in their pocket.

What about individuality? Are we not all the same by wearing raw denim? i think we're all following the same crowd by walking this so called road to make the snapshot of your life in your jeans. No one can say that they are the first ones to rock raw denim because none of us were around when denim was first created.

All this talk about shit you put in your pockets makes me sad. Especially since it's because the ones doing the talking are hypocritical in that they say that it's no longer "cool" to imprint knucks. It's like fuckin high school all over again. i bet in a year or two people will be saying, "na man. fuck wallet imprints." THEN WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO NOW? WEAR A PURSE??

People need to get over it and let people do what they want. Stop trying to make people change just because things are "played out".

How about people look up the word 'consideration'. Shit, i see everyone around me wearing the same thing as the next guy, does that mean i should say that he's an ugly dumbass just because he "looks" like he tries to be fitted and that he wears what every other guy wears? No, I don't. Because I'm considerate.

We can all have our own opinions about what we think of things, i.e. what's looked down upon and what's looked up to in terms of denim, but that doesn't mean you need to tell the person that what they're doing is not accepted anymore. YOU are not someone who can decide things for THE REST of the world. Stop the egocentric-ness, please.

Well, to be honest, people who use brass knuckles rarely have them in their back pockets for too long, as opposed to in the forehead of the punk they're trying to curbstomp.

There's a history of dudes who have had brass knuckle fades on their jeans, and when they post a full-length shot of their outfits, they tend to look like the dweebs they are.

I plan what I put in my pocket, pretty much because I've had some injuries that don't allow me to keep stuff in my back pockets when sitting down, hence my planning out of crap in jeans.

tl;dr – phone/keys/ipod/chapstick front left, wallet front right.

Haa, i could imagine that that is how it may have originated. I'm not that kind tho, so no worries lol.

I think i want to continue with the brass knucks (never got around to re-breaking in the jeans that had them in the pocket) because when i first saw what it looked like, i was awestruck. that was a long time ago, but now, after having worn the jeans with the knuckles in them, i feel somewhat daring. Just the childish kind of feeling that i'm on the "wrong side" of the law because it's illegal in cali to even have them let alone walk around in public with them.

I always get paranoid as hell when i know that the authorities will be walking behind me. loose back pack ftw?

Lulz@grey rep

While one may not be an individual because there are others wearing raw denim (which is a dumbass way to group people anyway, like saying no one's style is individual because we all wear clothes), everyone's denim fades different and no 2 jeans will be the same. That's what makes them individual, from what they put in their pockets to what kind of shit they rolled in while wearing the jeans. By placing such a retarded thing as brass knuckles in ones pocket they're trying to . I'm considerate to people in the world because they don't know better or care. You come onto a fashion forum, you're looking to gain information or get opinions, that's what you get so stop getting so butthurt that people are telling you it's retarded to put brass knuckles in your pocket for "badass fadez, yo." Wallet fades will never be out of style because wallets are an edc, how many times in a day do you use your brass knuckles? And yes, we can all have our opinions on things, so why are you trying to say our (collective) opinion is wrong?

tl;dr : your post was your opinion. You voiced yours, others voiced theirs.

^^yeaups.

IMO i think its kinda stupid to put stuff in your pockets that have no real function. the only thing i understand about it, is comparing it to cars. Who really needs a spoiler, etc on their cars ( no real function except adding 5 hp :D)??

everyone has their own opinion. YES ppl will be inconsiderate to those who dont care about the denim, etc. but wear it to fit in.

so for me:

phone in front right

wallet in back right

that is all..

doesn't it hurt to put phones, etc in your back pockets??
